Any person violating any of the provisions of this article shall, for each violation, upon conviction thereof, pay a penalty of not less than twenty-five dollars ($25.00) nor more than one hundred dollars ($100.00), with costs recoverable before the Mayor, and upon default of payment of the penalty and costs the person convicted may be committed to the County Jail for a period not exceeding thirty days. Each day that a violation is permitted to exist shall constitute a separate offense.
