1731.05 SIGN INSPECTION.
   The Building Inspector shall inspect at least annually, and at such other times as the Building Inspector deems necessary, each sign or other structure regulated by this article, and the owner of same shall give written notice to the Building Inspector at least five days in advance of any work thereon. After inspection, should the report of the Building Inspector show the sign or structure to be unsafe or in any way a hazard, the owner of same, or owner of the property or structure on which such sign or structure is attached, shall be notified in writing of the condition of same and if not removed or altered to meet the requirements of this article within ten (10) days after notice is mailed, such signs, signboard, marquee, awning or other structure shall be removed by Town workmen and costs of such work charged to the owner of such property and collected in the manner provided by law.
