A Franchise Application (original and two (2) copies) along with payment of an application fee as required by the Town must be made to the Town Clerk and filed with the Town Recorder before any permits for conduits, poles, fiber optic cable, coaxial cable, communication cable, power lines, etc. will be granted. Franchise applications and samples of publications can be obtained from the Town Clerk. No such franchise shall be granted within thirty (30) days after the application has been filed, nor until an opportunity has been given any person interested in the granting or refusing of such franchise to be heard, and Council has voted to approve issuance of the franchise.
