This chapter applies to all rental dwellings in the city, including any accessory structures on the premises upon which the rental dwelling is located, such as garages and storage buildings. This chapter does not apply to State Department of Health licensed rest homes, convalescent care facilities, licensed group homes, nursing homes, or condominium units as defined and governed by M.S. Chapters 515, 515A, and 515B, as they may be amended from time to time.
