§ 32.23 VACANCIES.

   (A)   Any of the following will cause the office of a Parks and Environmental Commission member to become vacated:

      (1)   Death;

      (2)   Disability or failure to serve;

      (3)   Removal of legal residence from the city;

      (4)   Resignation in writing;

      (5)   Failure to uphold the oath of office; and/or

      (6)   Failure to attend four or more scheduled meetings of the Parks and Environmental Commission in a calendar year, unless waived by the City Council after a written request from the Parks and Environmental Commission member.

   (B)   The city will publish an open invitation to all residents interested in serving on the Parks and Environmental Commission to inform the City Manager or designee in writing of their interest and desire to be interviewed for a seat on the Parks and Environmental Commission.
