(A) Members appointed by the City Council will serve three-year terms. The first Parks and Environmental Commissioners will be appointed as follows:
Two members | One-year terms |
Three members | Two-year terms |
Two members | Three-year terms |
(B) Thereafter, members shall be appointed to three-year terms when the original term of office expires, except where a vacancy occurs in the middle of a term. In which case, the appointment will be for the duration of the unexpired term. The three liaison members will serve at the pleasure of their respective organizations and can be replaced at any time. Members of the Parks and Environmental Commission shall be residents of the city throughout their term of office.
