No more than 75 licenses for amusement devices, as defined in § 114.001, shall exist in the city at any one given time. Not more than 15 licenses will be issued for any one establishment. If application is made for a license which if issued would cause the number of amusement device licenses to exceed the maximum, the City Council shall table action on the license and shall consider it only when issuance of the license would not be in excess of the maximum number specified in this section.
