The provisions of M.S. Chapter 169, as it may be amended from time to time, apply to the operation of snowmobiles on roadways, except those relating to required equipment, and those which by their nature have no application. No person may operate a snowmobile on a roadway in violation of the provisions of M.S. Chapter 169, as it may be amended from time to time.
