8.16.030: UNNECESSARY DISCHARGE UNLAWFUL:

It is unlawful for any person to discharge or fire any firearm, which includes rifles, shotguns and handguns of any caliber or gauge, or any air rifle, air pistol, pellet or "BB" gun or pistol, not in necessary defense of persons or property, within the corporate limits of the city. (Ord. 35, 1975)
