6.04.040: FEMALE SMALL ANIMAL IN HEAT:
The owner of a female small animal shall cause such small animal, when in season, to be penned or enclosed in such a manner as to preclude other small animals from attacking such female small animal or being attracted to such female small animal so as to create a public nuisance.
It shall be unlawful for the owner or person having possession, charge, custody or control of a female small animal to cause, permit, or allow the same to stray or run, or in any other manner be at large in or upon any street or sidewalk while such small animal is in season. (Ord. 172, 10-11-2006)
