§ 37.02  CODE ENFORCEMENT OFFICER.
   (A)   The Code Enforcement Officer shall not have the powers of Peace Officers to make arrest or carry concealed deadly weapons. This section shall not be a limitation on the power of a Citation Officer to make an arrest as a private person as provided in KRS 431.005.
   (B)   The Code Enforcement Officer may issue citations as authorized by ordinance of nonmoving motor vehicle offenses, and violations of ordinances, including, but not limited to those procedures described in Chapter 92, commonly referred to as nuisances, and Chapter 152, Zoning.
   (C)   The Code Enforcement Officer shall under no circumstance cause to be issued a citation for any violation of the state’s Penal Code.
   (D)   The Code Enforcement Officer shall under no circumstance cause to be issued a citation for any violation, which would have the adverse effect of punishing a victim of domestic violence.
   (E)   The City Clerk shall at all times keep in it’s possession for reference a copy of KRS 83A.087.
   (F)   The Code Enforcement Officer has other duties as described in the city’s code of ordinances, Chapters 92, 152, and §§ 36.20 to 36.33.
   (G)   The Code Enforcement Officer shall issue violations in accordance with KRS 82.600 to 82.640.
