GENERAL PROVISIONS
§ 51.01 TITLE.
   This chapter shall be and is collectively referred to and cited as "The Storm Water Utility, Control and Management Ordinance of Stallings, North Carolina."

§ 51.02 PURPOSES AND FINDINGS.
   The purpose of this chapter is to protect and promote the public health, safety, and welfare by preventing the introduction of potentially harmful materials into the storm sewer system within the town; to protect property from potential storm water damage; to maintain and enhance water quality; and to meet the requirements of the National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System for storm water discharges.
