(a) The Municipal Utility Commission (MUC) shall charge any party or parties a deposit for water and/or sewer service in accordance with Chapter 8 Article 20 of the West Virginia Code the following amounts:

(1) Water and sewer | $100.00 |
(2) Sewer only | 66.76 |
(3) Water only | 50.00 |
(b) Those parties desiring to place and account for water and/or sewer service with the Municipal Utility Commission in their respective name or names that owe an unpaid amount for past service to the Municipal Utility Commission shall be required to pay the unpaid balance and a deposit in accordance with paragraph (a) herein before such account will be placed in their name or names.
