The operation of any snowmobile or ATV not licensed as a motor vehicle is prohibited within the city, except as specifically authorized as follows:
(A) Snowmobiles may be operated on any city street with the flow of traffic no further than 5 feet from the edge of the paved or improved portion of the street, by the most direct route between the operator's residence and a state, county, or city-designated trail. Operation within other portions of the paved or improved city street for the purposes set forth in this division is permitted with the flow of traffic only to pass parked motor vehicles or stationary non-motor vehicle obstructions within the city street, or to make a left turn at a 90-degree angle to another city street;
(B) Snowmobiles may be operated across the public right-of-way of any county state aid highway, trunk highway, county highway, or county road within the city, at a 90-degree angle only at the intersection with a city street or other county state aid highway, trunk highway, county highway, or county road, for the purpose of travel by the most direct route between the operator's residence and a state, county, or city-designated trail;
(C) On private property of another with specific permission of the owner or legal occupant of the property;
(D) On any other public place as may be specifically permitted by other provisions of the city code;
(E) At a speed not in excess of 15 miles per hour in areas where operation is permitted in this section;
(F) Snowmobiles may be operated on the following city streets in the manner described in division (A) for the limited purpose of entering or leaving the city, or traveling to or from areas in which operation of snowmobiles is lawful, or to and from gas stations and restaurants by the most direct route:
(1) 311th Street, from the Sunrise Bike Trail to the eastern edge of the County State Aid Highway 30 (Forest Boulevard) right-of-way;
(2) 307th Street, from the Sunrise Bike Trail to the western edge of the County State Aid Highway 30 (Forest Boulevard) right-of-way, and north along County State Aid Highway 30 (Forest Boulevard) within the right-of-way off the pavement, and along Frontage Avenue to the northern edge of County State Aid Highway 19 right-of-way and crossing County State Aid Highway 30 (Forest Boulevard) right-of-way to the eastern edge of County State Aid Highway 30 (Forest Boulevard) right-of-way; and
(3) From the Sunrise Bike Trail along County State Aid Highway 19 (Stacy Trail) to the western boundary of the city limits.
