The lien provided for in this chapter may be enforced by proceedings to foreclose the lien as in the case of a mortgage or mechanics' lien. This foreclosure action shall be commenced in accordance with the provisions of Illinois law. Any action to foreclose a lien under this chapter must be commenced within three (3) years after the date of filing the notice of lien in the Bureau County recorder of deeds office. (Ord., 7-1-1985)
