Any employee of the City of Spring Valley who has access to social security numbers in the course of performing their duties will be trained to protect the confidentiality of social security numbers and will be trained on the requirements of this policy. Training will include instructions on the proper handling of information and documents that contain social security numbers from the time of collection through the destruction of the information or documents.
