§ 6-1-206 CERTIFICATION TO SECRETARY OF STATE.
   After certification of the election results, if at least a majority of the votes cast are “for charter,” the county election commission shall certify to the secretary of state that notice was duly given, and application in due form of law made, the description of boundaries, the entire number of votes cast, the number of votes cast “for charter,” the number of votes cast for “against charter,” and the corporate name of the municipality.
