§ 32.27 ENFORCEMENT FOR LACK OF BOARD.
   If a City Board of Health is not formed, as per discretionary provisions in § 32.20, the Chief of Police is hereby charged with, and assigned the duty of, enforcement of all laws and regulations imposed by the state, the State Health Department, County Health Department (if any exists), and the city as they pertain to the protection of public health, safety, and welfare. It shall be the continuing duty of the Chief of Police to monitor any conditions and/or hazards that pose, or could pose, a threat to such health, safety, and welfare to the community, and it shall be the duty of the Chief of Police to report any such hazards or conditions to the Common Council and the State Board of Health officials promptly.
