The city is hereby authorized to recover the total cost of the repair(s), demolition, or removal of dangerous and hazardous buildings, structures, or premises under this subchapter, and through any means available under the laws of the state (SDCL § 21-10-6), including, but not limited to, the taxing of the cost thereof by special assessment against the real property on which the public nuisance occurred, and bylaws, as from time to time amended.
