It shall be unlawful for any person to do any act or conduct any business, or keep any house, room, or building in the city for any purpose which, by act of the legislative assembly of the state or ordinance of this city, is declared to be a nuisance or an offense against public peace, public health, public safety, or public morals as defined in state law and all such nuisances or offenses are declared a misdemeanor under this chapter.
