1. All residential subdivision or land development plan submissions of five or more dwelling units shall be required to provide for public dedication of land suitable for park and/or recreation use in accordance with the provisions of this Article.
2. A minimum of 0.065 acres or 2,833 square feet of suitable recreation land shall be provided per dwelling unit in excess of four units unless the applicant agrees to a fee in-lieu-of as outlined in § 605. This requirement is based on the following: a goal of providing 26 acres of recreation land per 1,000 population in accordance with the standards of the National Park and Recreation Association as reflected by the Township Park and Recreation Plan; and an average household size of two and one-half persons per household as determined by the U.S. Census of 2010.
