The township adopts the Pennsylvania Construction Code Act, Act 45 of 1999 being 35 P.S. §§ 7210.101 et seq., as well as any amendments that may be enacted from time to time and regulations adopted pursuant to the Act. The Act designates a new building code to replace the township’s existing code, provides for standards for construction, establishes a Board of Appeals for disputes arising under the code and allows the municipality to provide for enforcement of the code in a number of ways to be adopted from time to time by resolution of the Board of Supervisors.
