§ 9-501 SWIMMING POOLS; DEFINITIONS, SCOPE OF ARTICLE.
   For the purpose of this Article, a SWIMMING POOL shall be defined as a body of water in an artificial or semi-artificial receptacle or other container whether located indoors or outdoors, used or intended to be used for private swimming by adults or children or both, including all structures, appurtenances, equipment, appliances, and other facilities appurtenant to and intended for the operation and maintenance of a swimming pool. The provisions of this Article shall be applicable to all underground pools and above ground pools, including inflatables, with sides that measure twenty-four (24) inches or more.
