769.04 CONCEALING OR DESTROYING IDENTITY OF VEHICLE PROHIBITED.

No serial number or any other distinguishing identification mark upon any motor vehicle, engine, or part thereof, by the manufacturer or owner, shall be removed, defaced, covered, or destroyed for the purpose of concealing or destroying the identity of the motor vehicle or part thereof.
