The following properties are exempt from the requirements under this Chapter:
(a) Single-family, owner-occupied dwellings and dwelling units;
(b) Hotels, motels, recreational vehicle parks, and camps without continuous occupancy by the same tenants for more than thirty (30) days.
(c) Dormitories owned and operated by a college or university.
(d) Adult Family Homes, Adult Group Homes, Community Residential Facilities, Family Foster Homes, Foster Family Homes, Foster Homes, Group homes, Supported Living Homes, and Type "A" or Type "B" Homes operated under Ohio Revised Code Title 51 Public Welfare.
(e) Nursing homes, assisted living facilities, independent living facilities and mental health placements.
(f) Prisons, jails, work facilities, or other places of incarceration or correction including but not limited to halfway houses, transitional living facilities, residential facilities under community control sanctions, post-release control sanctions, or parole.
(g) Parsonage homes owned by a church.
(h) Properties held within a family trust, estate, or as part of a legally designated family home where no rent is being collected.
(i) Shelter homes or facilities.
