Pursuant to Ohio R.C. 124.38, each full-time employee of the City shall be entitled to four and six-tenths hours with pay for every eighty hours of service, to include sick leave, authorized vacation, paid holidays and overtime, but not leave of absence or lay-off; such sick leave to be granted by the appointing authority for absence due to illness, injury, exposure to contagious disease, which could be communicated to other employees, or to serious illness of death in the employee's immediate family.
