Effective October 31, 2022, each permanent full-time employee shall receive experience pay based on a percentage of the employee's base wage or base salary earnings, excluding overtime hours worked or comp time paid out, based on their total years of completed service in accordance with the schedule below. Completed years of service as used in this section shall mean a period of 365 days, whether continuous or not, in which an employee has been in full-time paid status with the City of Springfield. Eligible employees will receive experience pay along with their regular pay on the standard payroll schedule.
