(a) All buildings erected in the City and intended for human habitation or occupancy shall be provided with operable sanitary plumbing facilities. At the least, each new and existing housing unit intended for human habitation shall be provided with an operable separate water closet and sink for each family. New or remodeled nonresidential structures shall be provided with separate water closets and lavatories for male and female employees as required by this Plumbing Code.
(b) Privy vaults and chemically treated dry pan toilets shall not be constructed, installed or used on any premises within the City of Springfield, Ohio.
