1361.02 OHIO PLUMBING CODE ADOPTION.
   (a)    Adoption. The Ohio Plumbing Code, 2007 Edition (cited as “OPC”), being the "2006 International Plumbing Code, Chapters 2 to 13, as published by the International Code Council, Inc., along with editorial changes adopted by the Ohio Board of Building Standards, Division of Industrial Compliance, Ohio Department of Commerce effective July 1, 2007, is hereby adopted by The City of Springfield, Ohio.

   (b)    For purposes of enforcing this Plumbing Code, the Health Commissioner of the Clark County Combined Health District is hereby appointed to be the Building Official.

   (c)    Plastic Pipe Exception: Notwithstanding the provisions of this Plumbing Code, copper tubing only shall be used in all water distribution and water supply applications connecting the City’s water main, the curb stop and the meter box serving a property.
