1324.09 DEFAULT.

If a person who has been served with a notice of civil offense and civil fine fails to answer within the time provided by Section 1324.06, or fails to attend a requested hearing, the person is in default, and the civil fine as specified by Section 1324.99 for the class of the offense charged is due.
