Nothing in this Gas Piping Code shall prohibit the filing of amendments to an application or to a diagram or other record accompanying same, at any time before the completion of the work for which the gas piping installation permit was issued. Such amendments shall be filed with and shall be deemed a part of the original application; provided that such amendment was made prior to final testing of the permitted work. Otherwise, a new application for such alteration shall be made and a new gas piping installation permit shall be secured.
