452.18 FIRE LANES.
   (a)   The Fire Department having jurisdiction in the Municipality and its fire officials, in cooperation with the Municipality, may require and designate such public or private fire lanes as are deemed necessary for the efficient and effective use of fire apparatus.
 
   (b)   Designated fire lanes shall be maintained free of obstructions and vehicles and marked in a manner prescribed by the fire officials.
 
   (c)   No person shall leave a motor vehicle parked, whether attended or unattended, upon any portion of a fire lane. Any motor vehicle parked or left upon any portion of a fire lane may be towed away at the owner’s expense.
 
   (d)   Whoever violates any of the provisions of this section shall be issued a parking citation by the Division of Police. (Ord. 961. Passed 7-2-81.)
