280.08 ABUSE OR MUTILATION OF PROTECTED TREES.

The following abuse or mutilation of Protected Trees shall be prohibited:

(a) No person shall intentionally damage, cut, carve, or otherwise disfigure any tree, other than as permitted in Section 280.06.

(b) No person shall attach any rope, wire, nail, poster, or other contrivance to any tree.

(c) No person shall allow any substance harmful to vegetation to be improperly applied to any tree.

(d) No person shall set fire to, or permit a fire to burn in an area within 100 feet of any tree.
