(a) The wards established in this chapter shall, in the event of annexation, be expanded to include such annexed areas as are included in the election precincts set forth in Section 206.02, without further amendment of this chapter.
(b) If such an annexation occurs that the County Board of Elections establishes a new precinct, this chapter shall be amended by Council pursuant to the Municipal Charter.
