(a) General Requirements. The proposed development's water supply system shall comply with the City of Springboro's Water Master Plan. These design criteria are not intended to cover extraordinary situations. Deviations will be allowed and may be required in those instances when considered justified by the City Engineer in accordance with generally accepted engineering practice as applied to the specific facts of the development. All new building construction shall be connected to the City's water supply system where available within 300 feet. All water facilities required as part of these Subdivision Regulations shall conform to the City of Springboro Standard Construction Drawing and Specifications as maintained by the City Engineer.
(b) Fire Hydrants. Fire hydrants shall be located no more than 500 feet apart and within 250 feet of any structure.
(c) The minimum size for public water mains shall be 8 inches in diameter.
(d) All water mains shall be constructed of ductile iron pipe Class 52.
