Weekly residential garbage and rubbish pick-up shall include all materials placed at the curb in suitable watertight containers, plastic bags or other approved containers not weighing more than seventy-five pounds. Unlimited service is available except for commercial establishments which are restricted to a maximum of one cubic yard or eight standard size receptacles or the equivalent thereof. Commercial establishments wishing greater service must contract directly with the contractor or arrange for dumpster service with a licensed firm.
In addition, large items such as discarded furniture, appliances, hot water heaters, debris from work done on the premises by the occupant, brush and tree limbs (provided they are cut and bundled in not more than four foot bundles) and other large, bulky items which can be handled by two men, shall, when placed at the curb along with regular trash, be picked up during regular trash collection.
