(a) Each contractor or builder applying for a building permit for any type of construction in the Municipality, where such building will require a new tap-in permit to the Municipal water system, shall pay a fee as set forth in Appendix A of Chapter 1464 of the Building and Housing Code of the Codified Ordinances per building or building unit for temporary water service to such building or unit. (b) The fee set forth in subsection (a) hereof shall cover the cost of temporary water service to the building or unit for one year or until the occupancy permit is issued, whichever occurs first. (Ord. 808. Passed 4-19-79.)
