1026.01 PHYSICAL OBSTRUCTION OF SIDEWALKS AND STREETS.
   An owner of a tree, shrub, bush, other vegetation or debris, any part of which overhangs or extends over any part of a public sidewalk or street so as to interfere with vehicles or pedestrians, shall trim or cause to be trimmed or removed such tree, shrub, bush or vegetation so that it does not obstruct or interfere with the free and safe use of such sidewalk or street. Trees which overhang a public sidewalk or street shall be trimmed to a height of nine feet over a public sidewalk and fourteen feet over a public street. (Ord. 98-43. Passed 10-1-98.)
