(a) The Manager or his or her designee, upon receipt of a complaint that a certain lot or parcel in the Municipality is in violation of any of the provisions of this chapter shall inspect such lot or parcel and, if a violation is found, shall serve or cause to be served a notice upon the owner or occupant of such lot or parcel ordering the abatement of the nuisance within ten days. No person shall fail to comply with such order within such period.

(b) Whoever violates this section is guilty of a minor misdemeanor. A separate offense shall be deemed committed each day during or on which a violation occurs or continues. Punishment shall be as provided in Section 698.02.
