The publicly elected officials of the city shall be a mayor and four (4) council members. The election of each and their associated terms of office shall be in accordance with Idaho Code 1
.
A. Mayor: A majority of the votes for any candidate running for the office of mayor shall be required for election to that office. In the event that no candidate receives a majority of the votes cast, there shall be a runoff election between the two (2) candidates receiving the highest number of votes cast conducted pursuant to Idaho Code, section 50-162.
