§ 155.026 INTERPRETATION OF DISTRICT BOUNDARIES.
   (A)   District boundary lines are generally intended to be along or parallel to property lines, lot lines, the centerline of streets, alleys, railroads, easements, other rights-of-way, and creeks, streams, or other water channels.
   (B)   In the absence of specified distances on the map, dimensions of districts shall be determined by scaling the distance on the official zoning map. When the street or property layout existing on the ground is at variance with that shown on the official zoning map, the Board of Adjustment shall interpret the district boundaries of this chapter.
   (C)   Where any street or alley is hereafter officially vacated or abandoned, the regulations applicable to each parcel of abutting property shall apply to that portion of the street or alley added thereto by virtue of the vacation or abandonment.
   (D)   In case any further uncertainty exists, the Board of Adjustment shall interpret the intent of the map as to the location of such boundaries.
   (E)   Where a district boundary line divides a lot which was in single ownership at the time of passage of this chapter, the extension of the regulations for either portion of the lot not exceeding 50 feet beyond the district line into the remaining portion of the lot shall be permitted.
