§ 94.02 ANSWERING FIRE CALLS; AREAS OF PROTECTION.
   (A)   The town’s Fire Department is authorized to respond to all fire, rescue and emergency alarms dispatched within the town limits. In addition, the town’s Fire Department shall also respond to calls within the rural tax district designated by the county’s Fire Marshal. The town’s Fire Department is authorized to fulfill automatic aid, mutual aid, local, regional and statewide agreements according to each respective document. (Aid agreements shall be approved and renewed by the Town Manager, Mayor or Town Commissioners upon expiration.)
   (B)   The daily functions of the town’s Fire Department are authorized by the Fire Chief or his or her designee:
      (1)   Call response, investigation, fire prevention, reporting, operations and incident command;
      (2)   Fire Department building and ground duties;
      (3)   Maintenance, inventory of apparatus and equipment; and
      (4)   Any other responsibilities assigned by the Fire Chief.
