(A) When signs are placed which prohibit or regulate parking, or when the curbing has been painted yellow in lieu of such signs, no person shall park a vehicle at any time upon any of the areas so marked except in conformity therewith.
(B) A vehicle found by law enforcement to be in violation of division (A) above may be removed by wrecker and stored at the owner’s expense and the moving and storage of such vehicle shall become a lien upon such vehicle.
(C) A violation of the foregoing provisions shall be punishable as a Class 3 misdemeanor pursuant to G.S. § 14-4.
