When signs have been erected at those intersections designated as yield right-of-way intersections on the official traffic maps of the town as adopted by the Board of Commissioners, the driver of any vehicle shall approach such an intersection with caution and shall yield the right-of-way to any vehicle approaching on the intersected street.
