(A) Fire lanes shall be established within the town on private property devoted to public use, where the parking of motor vehicles or other obstructions may interfere with the ingress or egress of Fire Department vehicles for the protection of persons and property.
(B) The width and route of such lanes shall be as follows: 12 feet in width along and in front of all buildings.
(C) The marking of fire lanes shall be approved by the Chief of the Fire Department and the Chief of Police.
