For the purpose of this chapter, the following definition applies unless the context clearly indicates or requires a different meaning.
SOLICITOR. Any person or nonprofit organization who travels by any means from place to place, taking or attempting to take orders door to door for sale of goods to be delivered in the future or for services to be performed in the future or by the collection of donations of money or other property by gift, flowers, or other means.
