(A) Sidewalk inspections are to be performed by the Village Administrator and an authorized representative of the village. The inspections shall be completed by the end of October of each calendar year.
(B) All inspections are based on the criteria included in the latest edition of the “Village of Spencerville Sidewalk Inspection Guidelines.”
(C) Notice of violation letters shall be mailed by the first week of January of each calendar year.
(D) All sidewalk repairs shall be completed by August 31 of the following year the sidewalk inspection occurred. (Example: inspection occurred in 2018; work to be completed by August 31, 2019.)
(E) Property owners may request a one-time, one-year extension. Request must be approved by Village Council.
