(A) Perpendicular and/or angled parking shall be permitted in the public rights-of-way as long as the following conditions are met:
(1) Conforms to the minimum requirements of the Ohio Manual of Uniform Traffic-Control Devices;
(2) Conforms to R.C. §§ 4511.01 through 4511.78 and 4511.99;
(3) Any parked vehicle shall have a minimum of a one-foot lateral clearance from the sidewalk and a minimum of two feet lateral clearance from the edge of roadway pavement. If no sidewalk is present, the two-foot clearance from the edge of pavement shall still apply; and
(4) The Village Administrator approves the area in writing after a visual inspection.
(B) Parking of semi-trucks and trailers shall be prohibited on the east side of Canal Street from the south corporation limit to the north corporation limit.
(C) Parking on the east side of Canal Street from the south corporation limit to the north corporation limit shall be limited to 24 hours maximum.
(D) Parking shall be prohibited from 2:00 a.m. through 6:00 a.m. for the following areas:
(1) Broadway Street between Second Street and Fourth Street; and
(2) Third Street Square located between Broadway Street and the Miami and Erie Canal.
(E) Parking in the public alley east of the Miami and Erie Canal, between Second and Fourth Street, shall be restricted as follows:
(1) There shall be no parking between 2:00 a.m. and 6:00 a.m. without a proper parking permit issued by the Village Police Department;
(2) Parking permits shall include the vehicle information, vehicle owner’s name, address, and contact information; and
(3) Parking permits shall be displayed in the vehicle at all times.
(F) Any person who violates any division of this schedule shall be penalized in accordance with the provisions of R.C. § 4511.99.
