All signage, pavement markings, and signals used for traffic control on public streets in the Town of Spencer must be designed and marked in accordance with the latest version of the Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices (MUTCD). Traffic controls and street signs which are erected and/or maintained by the town shall be consistent with the MUTCD. All specialty traffic control, street signs and posts must also comply with the MUTCD. Existing signs not in compliance with the MUTCD will remain in place until they are no longer in good order, at which time they will be removed and not replaced.
