(A) Items shall be placed on the agenda according to the order of business. The order of business for each regular meeting shall be as follows:
Any items scheduled to be taken up at specific times are considered to be special orders.
(1) Invocation;
(2) Call to order;
(3) Pledge of allegiance;
(4) Discussion and revision of the proposed agenda, including consent agenda; adoption of an agenda;
(5) Approval of minutes;
(6) Public comments;
(7) Public hearings;
(8) Ordinances;
(9) Resolutions;
(10) Proclamations;
(11) Committee reports;
(12) Department reports;
(13) Town Manager report;
(14) Other items;
(15) Requests/comments by Mayor and Board members;
(16) Vote for executive session (when necessary);
(17) Executive session;
(18) Return to open meeting;
(19) Vote for adjournment;
(20) Adjournment.
(B) By general consent of the Council, items may be considered out of order.
